OUR HISTORY:
OVER 40 YEARS OF SHAPING LIVES IN THE SHAW COMMUNITY
With a collective effort lead by the Director Sherry Woods, M.Ed., and the late Jennifer Hines, ULC has grew from a small effort with eight children into a daily afterschool and summer program reaching up to 40 students and their families each year. With the support of area churches and neighborhood spaces, ULC has been helping to shape the lives of children and youth who are challenged by economic, educational, and racial inequities.
